In short
Nothing is sent to us.
Coolpark does not operate a user backend. We do not collect, sell, share, or store your location, parking history, contacts, or identifiers. Shade is computed on the device from public map data the app fetches for the area you are viewing.

Who we are
Coolpark
This policy is for the Coolpark app (bundle identifier com.coolpark) and the public website at coolpark.braveset.com. “We” means the developer of Coolpark.
Coolpark helps you park in the shade. This page is the privacy policy for the product as it works today.
On your device
What Coolpark stores locally
The following can stay on that iPhone or iPad, encrypted in the app’s local vault:
- Preferences: typical stay length, Apple or Google Maps, appearance, whether alerts are on.
- Saved spots and a parked pin: names and coordinates you chose to keep.
- Notification history: shade alerts shown in the app.
- Purchase state: whether Pro is unlocked on this device, as reported by Apple.
That data is not uploaded as a Coolpark backup. If you delete the app, iOS removes it from that device.
What we don’t collect
No profiles, no tracking, no inbox
We do not collect:
- Your name, email, or phone number
- Precise or coarse location on our servers (we have none for this)
- Advertising identifiers for tracking
- Analytics events sent to Coolpark
- Parking history beyond what you save on the device
Coolpark’s privacy manifest states that precise location is used for app functionality, is not linked to your identity by us, and is not used for tracking.
Location
Used here, not sent to Coolpark
If you allow location, Coolpark uses it on the device to center the map and load public map features around you. You can search a street instead. You can deny location; the app will not invent a position for you.
We do not receive a live feed of where you go.
Third parties you choose
Apple Maps, Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, weather
To draw the map and shade, the app requests:
- Apple MapKit or Google Maps for base map tiles, depending on the map you pick in Profile.
- OpenStreetMap / Overpass for buildings, trees, and parking geometry used in shade math. Requests identify the app (Coolpark) as is customary for that API.
- Open-Meteo (or similar public weather) so cloud cover can soften the overlay.
Those operators have their own privacy policies. Coolpark does not piggyback extra personal data onto those requests beyond what is needed to fetch the region you are viewing (typically a map bounding box and time).
Apple
Pro is billed by Apple
If you buy Coolpark Pro or start a trial, payment is handled by Apple. We receive entitlement status through RevenueCat / StoreKit so the app can unlock features. We do not receive your full Apple ID, card number, or billing address.
Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
This website
A public brochure
coolpark.braveset.com describes the app and hosts this policy and the terms. It does not have user accounts. We do not run a Coolpark login or a tracking pixel of our own on these pages. Your browser and any host we use may keep standard server logs (IP, user agent) as part of serving the site. We do not use those logs to build profiles.
Deleting
It’s already on the phone
There is no Coolpark cloud copy to delete. Clear local data from Profile, or delete the app. Cancel Pro with Apple if you subscribed.
Children
Not directed at children under 13
Coolpark is a navigation utility. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes
We will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new policy. If we ever started collecting personal data, we would say so clearly here first. That is not how Coolpark works today.
