Using Coolpark
These terms cover the Coolpark app on iOS and iPadOS, and this website. By using Coolpark, you agree to them.
Agreement
If you do not agree, do not install or use the app. Continuing past onboarding means you accept this page and the Privacy Policy.
You must be old enough to use the App Store in your country. Coolpark is not directed at children under 13.
The product
Coolpark helps you find street parking that is more likely to stay in the shade. It can overlay shade on a map, rank nearby curb spots for a stay length you choose, save a parked pin, and optionally alert you before shade leaves that pin.
Coolpark is not a parking reservation service, not a payment meter, and not a navigation authority. You still obey signs, laws, and the street in front of you.
Estimates
Overlays use public map data, solar geometry, and weather. They can be wrong: missing trees, new buildings, parked trucks, leaves, clouds, or a map that is out of date. Always look at the spot before you leave the car. Coolpark does not guarantee a cool interior, a legal space, or that shade will last.
Purchases
The app is free to start. Pro may unlock time-of-day scrubbing, stay ranking, and shade alerts. Prices, duration, and trial (if any) are shown in the App Store paywall before you buy.
Payment is collected by Apple. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel Pro. Apple’s standard refund rules apply; we cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.
Use
Do not use Coolpark while it would make driving unsafe. Do not scrape, overload, or abuse the map and OpenStreetMap endpoints the app relies on. Do not reverse engineer the app to steal keys or impersonate Coolpark.
Maps
Apple Maps, Google Maps, and OpenStreetMap (and their contributors) own or license the map content you see. Coolpark does not claim that data. Brand names of other apps (Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, and so on) belong to those companies.
No advice
Coolpark is provided “as is.” It is not legal, safety, or meteorological advice. Parking laws, heat risk, and street conditions are your responsibility.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for tickets, towing, heat damage to a vehicle or its contents, missed shade, or navigation errors. Our total liability for Coolpark is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim (often zero, because Apple collected it). Some places do not allow these limits; they apply only as far as local law allows.
Apple
You also agree to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for Coolpark. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this section. Support for the app is through us, not Apple, except for App Store billing.
Changes
The current terms are the ones on this page. If we change them, we will update the effective date. Keep using the app after that and you accept the new terms.
